The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Biguth is looking for a sweep. Barycz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Biguth has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barycz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Biguth working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barycz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Barycz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Biguth can do anything to dispel that myth.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Barycz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Biguth has his foot on Barycz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barycz works his way back into a safe position though.

Barycz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Biguth has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barycz has managed to get both his arms back between Biguth's legs - danger averted.

Biguth quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Barycz has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Biguth celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
