Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Beerly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Herman Lang!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beerly stuffs the takedown attempt from Lang. Lang gets slowly back to his feet.
Beerly misses with a head kick.
Beerly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lang walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Beerly throws a head kick but Lang moves out of range.

Beerly lands a big head kick that sends Lang tumbling to the mat! Beerly takes a step backwards and waves Lang back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Lang is rocked!


It looks like Herman Lang has been cut.

Lang shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Beerly has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lang is working away from the top position though.
Lang wants to control but Beerly is keeping him busy.
Beerly is trying to maintain the position but Lang is very close to passing his half guard.
Beerly keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Lang decides to return to a standing position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Beerly misses with a head kick.
Beerly throws a sloppy head kick and Lang moves out of range easily.
Lang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Beerly paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lang fails with a takedown attempt.

Lang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Beerly circles away.
Anderson Beerly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herman Lang.
Lang moves out of range of the leg kick from Beerly.

and Lang decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Beerly's guard.

Lang wanted to stand there but Beerly had control of the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lang stands and throws Beerly's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Lang works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Beerly is not content to let Lang control the position.

Beerly is not content to let Lang control the position.
Beerly wants to improve his position but Lang is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Lang content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Beerly tries to get to full guard but Lang has control of the leg.

That was a close round but I would say that Anderson Beerly will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
