The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dante tries to clinch there but Poutintsev circles away.

Dante changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Poutintsev tries to avoid it but Dante manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Poutintsev to the ground. Poutintsev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Poutintsev uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Poutintsev drops Dante with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dante looks back up at him and smiles so Poutintsev waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Dante is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Poutintsev drops Dante with a straight right hand, right on the button! Poutintsev follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
