The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mitia keeps working.

Mitia is staying active underneath Johnson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That was a close round but I would say that Dwayne Johnson will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Johnson wants to take a breather but Mitia is having none of it.
Johnson is stalling here. Mitia is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Johnson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mitia has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
