Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elvin Ruez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Bichard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruez comes to the cage accompanied by Face Breaker - Poison Pen. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Kai Bichard enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bichard shoots in for a takedown but Ruez shows good takedown defense.
Ruez is looking to clinch.
Bichard on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ruez darts in and clinches Bichard up against the cage.
Ruez stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Bichard drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ruez pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bichard takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bichard will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Elvin Ruez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kai Bichard.
Bichard looks gassed!
Ruez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bichard on the side of the head.
It looks like Kai Bichard has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fight stays on the outside here - Ruez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ruez lands a nice shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bichard circles away quickly and effectively.
Ruez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ruez moves into the clinch.
Ruez stalling the fight.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Ruez for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Bichard drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ruez pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ruez clinches with his opponent.
Bichard blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A bit of stalling here from Ruez.
Ruez softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Ruez working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Ruez lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bichard backwards.
Ruez has picked Bichard up - he's going for a ride! Ruez dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ruez trying to control the action but Bichard is working from the bottom.
Ruez drops an elbow to the side of Bichard's head.
Bichard is rocked!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ruez lands a nice short elbow.
Bichard is still in real trouble! Can Ruez finish him?
Ruez is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Bichard is hurt! He's hurt bad - Ruez fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Bichard from any more punishment! Congratulations to Ruez! Great finish!
