Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ron Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrico Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Enrico Vargas!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris shoots for a double leg takedown but Vargas sprawls well. He's pushed Morris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Morris throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vargas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Morris dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vargas. That did some damage!
Vargas leaves Morris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Vargas moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Vargas swats away the attempt to clinch by Morris.
Morris lands a nice leg kick that just misses Vargas's sensitive parts.

That was a close round but I would say that Ron Morris will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
