Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmons's entrance music is Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing. A fine choice. Daley has chosen Dragonforce-Heroes of our time as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmons swinging wildly here.
Daley is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Daley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Daley closes the distance and pushes Timmons back into the cage.
Daley has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Daley is looking to stand up but Timmons isn't so interested in that idea.

Daley is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Timmons dives into side control.
Timmons is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Daley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Timmons tries for a kimura but Daley is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You get the feeling that Daley really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Daley seems to have recovered his senses.
