Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Montagu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petrovolinksi Kotoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotoski comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Till I Collapse kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Montagu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Petrovolinksi Kotoski!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotoski fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Montagu looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kotoski tries to close the distance and clinch but Montagu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kotoski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Montagu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kotoski is working away from the top position though.

Kotoski is looking for a kimura but Montagu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kotoski to get the leverage.
Kotoski drops an elbow to the side of Montagu's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kotoski missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Kotoski is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Montagu has managed to free his arm - good work.

Kotoski is controlling the pace.

Kotoski escapes and gets back to his feet.
Petrovolinksi Kotoski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kotoski throws a right and a left that Montagu avoids nicely.

Kotoski has closed the distance and engaged Montagu in a clinch.
Kotoski stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Kotoski goes for a takedown attempt but Montagu pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kotoski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Kotoski gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Montagu loads up on a big right hand but Kotoski slips the punch.

Kotoski instigates a clinch.

Kotoski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kotoski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Montagu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kotoski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Montagu swivels and escapes.
Frank Montagu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petrovolinksi Kotoski.
Nice sprawl there from Montagu as Kotoski shoots in.
Montagu looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kotoski dives in and grabs Montagu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Montagu pushes down on Kotoski's head and hops out.
Montagu avoids the head kick by Kotoski.
Montagu throws a nice looking combination but Kotoski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kotoski scores a takedown into full mount!
Kotoski looking to finish Montagu with some ground and pound. This is bad for Montagu!
Montagu is squirming around, avoiding Kotoski's attempts to control the action.
Montagu is just holding on here. Kotoski manages to take his back.
Kotoski scores with strikes from the back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petrovolinksi Kotoski dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kotoski working for a submission but Montagu is keeping him at bay.
Kotoski with the ground and pound from mount.
Kotoski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kotoski in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Kotoski working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Montagu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kotoski on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kotoski breaks from Montagu's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Montagu wants to get back to his feet.
Montagu is bucking up trying to escape but Kotoski cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Montagu in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Kotoski lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kotoski landing punches.

Kotoski has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Montagu is forced to tap!
