The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Williams blocks the low kick.
Hughs is looking to clinch.
Williams tries to clinch but Hughs moves away
and Hughs counters with a body kick that stops Williams in his tracks momentarily.
Hughs takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hughs lands a glancing blow to the side of Williams's head.
Hughs lands a nice leg kick that just misses Williams's sensitive parts.
Hughs throws a body kick that misses.
Williams avoids the head kick by Hughs.
Hughs ducks under a wild hook from Williams.
Andre Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Andre Williams has been cut.
Hughs feints and then cracks Williams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Williams down.

Hughs creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Hughs throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Williams blocks it with crossed arms.
Hughs lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Williams can't find room to land a body shot as Hughs controls the action.

Hughs misses with a knee strike.
Hughs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hughs uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Williams.
Hughs throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Hughs lands a nice looking kick to the body. Williams takes a step back to recover.
Hughs uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Williams has time to react.
Williams takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Hughs scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Hughs finish him?
Williams drops his hands momentarily and Hughs needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Williams just on the top of the head. Williams drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Williams - he's done!
