Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Bacon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zachary Concepcion!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacon stuffs the takedown.
Bacon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Concepcion.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bacon connects with a nasty looking knee right to Concepcion's face.
It looks like Zachary Concepcion has been cut.
Bacon lands a nice elbow.
Concepcion is rocked!
Concepcion tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Concepcion is still on wobbly legs! Can Bacon finish him?
Jay Bacon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zachary Concepcion.
Concepcion takes a knee to the side of the body.
Bacon connects with a knee to the head.
Concepcion drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Concepcion tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Concepcion jumps guard but Bacon stands there with Concepcion around his waist. Concepcion gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Concepcion seems to have recovered his senses.
Concepcion is trying to break free.
Concepcion pulls guard effortlessly.

Concepcion is working an open guard so Bacon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Concepcion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Concepcion chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bacon can pounce on him.
Concepcion looks gassed!
Bacon rushes Concepcion and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bacon lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Bacon drops Concepcion with a big knee straight up the middle! Concepcion is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Bacon darts in and clinches Concepcion up against the cage.
Bacon creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Concepcion's defenses.
Concepcion drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bacon pulls his leg out and moves away.
Good leg kick by Bacon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Crack! A monster head kick from Bacon and Concepcion falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Bacon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jay Bacon!
