Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between timothy devance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and andrew marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think devance might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to hey joe. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
devance works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like andrew marshall has been cut.
devance doesn't manage to clinch there - marshall circles away.
marshall feints and then cracks devance's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow devance down.
devance looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? marshall is fending him off so far but devance persists. Nope, marshall circles away and we're back to standing.

devance closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming marshall to the mat! marshall manages to get full guard.
devance has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
devance connects with a body shot.
devance dives in and grabs marshall's left leg, looking for a takedown. marshall pushes down on devance's head and hops out.

marshall is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But devance has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from devance!

devance wants to take a breather but marshall is having none of it.
devance slips a nice elbow through marshall's hands, connecting with marshall's forehead.

devance is looking for a kimura but marshall is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for devance to get the leverage.
