Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Youri Djorkaeff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Djorkaeff tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maxwell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Djorkaeff somewhat.
Djorkaeff tries to clinch but Maxwell is having none of it.
Djorkaeff shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Maxwell pinned against the cage. Maxwell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Maxwell tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Djorkaeff avoids it.
Djorkaeff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Maxwell walks away with a smile on his face. Djorkaeff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Maxwell has his foot on Djorkaeff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Djorkaeff works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Djorkaeff got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maxwell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Djorkaeff has managed to get both his arms back between Maxwell's legs - danger averted.
