The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Marks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cooper connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Marks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cooper's waist but Cooper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marks off to one side.
Cooper throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marks stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
