Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Escobar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dr. Kitch. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Escobar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Percy Prime!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime misses with a double jab.
Prime avoids the body shot from Escobar.
Prime blocks a head kick by Escobar.
A slow jab from Prime misses its intended target.
Prime tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Escobar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Escobar shoots in for a takedown but Prime shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Escobar wants to slow Prime down by chopping away at his legs.
Prime lands a nice looking body shot.
Prime keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Escobar.
Escobar lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

and Prime counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Prime.
Escobar works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
The referee calls for Prime to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Escobar lands a shoulder strike.

Prime creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Escobar's defenses.

Prime pushes Escobar back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
The referee calls for Prime to work.
Escobar goes for a takedown in the clinch but Prime prevents it.

Escobar seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Escobar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Prime swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's time! Escobar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Escobar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Prime swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Prime checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Prime misses with a looping left.
Escobar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Escobar swings for the body but Prime moves out of range.
Prime lands a glancing blow to the side of Escobar's head.
Prime takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Escobar circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Escobar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Prime sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Escobar will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Prime up against the cage.

Prime lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Escobar or not.
Prime is pressed up against the cage. Escobar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Prime down to the mat. Prime avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Escobar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Prime defends it nicely.
Prime throws a shot from downtown. Escobar moves away and avoids it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Percy Prime showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Prime wants to sweep here but Escobar controlling him for the moment.

Escobar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Prime is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Escobar, into his guard.

Prime passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Escobar can't do much from the bottom here.
Prime wants to lay and pray for a moment but Escobar keeps working.

Prime has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Prime counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Escobar shoots in for a takedown but Prime shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Prime is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Escobar.

Escobar circles away from the clinch attempt.
A lazy left from Prime finds it's target.
Escobar tries to clinch up but Prime circles away and keeps his distance.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Escobar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Prime - the referee stops the clock and Escobar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Prime. Escobar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Escobar feints and as Prime raises his hands in defense, Escobar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Prime moves into range and clinches up with Escobar.
Prime using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Escobar has Prime pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Prime manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Escobar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Percy Prime comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Prime winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
