Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frodo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arbnor Blerim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arbnor Blerim will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frodo Baggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arbnor Blerim!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blerim takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Baggins throws a push kick but Blerim slaps the foot to one side.
Blerim misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Baggins doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Blerim counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Blerim lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Blerim wants to free his trapped foot but Baggins is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Blerim is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Baggins wants to get back to full guard.
Baggins is working hard here to advance position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Baggins misses with a takedown attempt - Blerim sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Baggins wants to sweep here but Blerim controlling him for the moment.

Blerim drops back looking for a leg! Baggins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baggins manages to kick Blerim off! Blerim jumps back into Baggins's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Baggins doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Arbnor Blerim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blerim misses the jab.

Blerim gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Blerim is looking to stand up but Baggins isn't so interested in that idea.

Blerim kicks Baggins off and gets to his feet.
Blerim looks gassed!

Baggins slips a straight right by Blerim.
Baggins misses the jab.
Blerim takes a swing at Baggins's ribcage but misses.
Nice sprawl there from Baggins as Blerim shoots in.

Baggins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Baggins stops Blerim from getting back to his feet.
Baggins stalling.

Baggins is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Blerim defends it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Blerim pushes Baggins off looking to stand but Baggins dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Frodo Baggins will probably get the nod.

Baggins has his takedown stuffed

and Blerim counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Baggins!

Blerim is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Baggins is surviving well by controlling Blerim's body position as best he can.
Baggins is desperately trying to improve his position but Blerim has a good base and remains in mount.
Baggins sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Blerim tries to pass to full mount but Baggins defends it.
Baggins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Baggins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Blerim is working away from the top position though.

Blerim is working for a kimura but Baggins is defending it quite comfortably.
Baggins is pressing down on Blerim's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Baggins manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Blerim really wants to buck Baggins off and get back to his feet.
Blerim is breathing heavily.
Baggins can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blerim is looking to escape.
Blerim wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Blerim trying desperately to get to his feet.
Blerim is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Frodo Baggins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Blerim is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Baggins works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Blerim is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Baggins asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Baggins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blerim keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Blerim is squirming around, avoiding Baggins's attempts to control the action.
Baggins breaks from Blerim's wrist control and lands an elbow.
You get the feeling that Blerim really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Baggins cracks Blerim with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Arbnor Blerim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Baggins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
