da Independente fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. DonaVan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

da Independente bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of DonaVan's head.
Tiuzao da Independente seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
da Independente scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

da Independente stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
da Independente lands a hook that stumbles DonaVan back into the cage. da Independente follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping DonaVan to the canvas! da Independente pounces and lands several unanswered shots - DonaVan has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
