Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Lebouf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Koshechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koshechkin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Russian National Anthem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koshechkin slaps away a takedown attempt from Lebouf, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Koshechkin throws a head kick that misses.
Lebouf wants to clinch.
Koshechkin misses with a series of wild punches.
Lebouf fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Koshechkin avoids it really well and circles away.
Koshechkin has his takedown stuffed
enabling Lebouf to counter with a crisp jab.
Koshechkin misses with a double jab
and Lebouf counters with a big uppercut that knocks Koshechkin off his feet! Lebouf dives into side control looking to finish!
Koshechkin is rocked!
It looks like Vladimir Koshechkin has been cut.
Koshechkin looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lebouf staying calm.
Koshechkin wants to control but Lebouf postures up.
Lebouf working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lebouf wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Koshechkin, who protects the arm well.
Koshechkin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lebouf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee asks Lebouf politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lebouf prefers to stall for the moment though.

Lebouf tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lebouf has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Koshechkin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lebouf's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Lebouf seems to be looking for submissions.
Koshechkin wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lebouf is looking for a kimura here.
Koshechkin tries to get to full guard but Lebouf has control of the leg.
Lebouf wants to work for an arm triangle but Koshechkin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Koshechkin pushes Lebouf off and gets back to his feet.
Good leg kick by Lebouf there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Koshechkin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Koshechkin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lebouf bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Lebouf fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lebouf tries to close the distance and clinch but Koshechkin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lebouf shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lebouf tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Koshechkin.
Koshechkin wants to control but Lebouf is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lebouf is trying to control. Koshechkin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Lebouf is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Lebouf wants to work for an arm triangle but Koshechkin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Koshechkin regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lebouf passes Koshechkin's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Koshechkin is trying to stand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Koshechkin is looking for a sweep. Lebouf is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Koshechkin wants to get back to full guard but Lebouf has passed into side control.
Koshechkin is desperately trying to improve his position but Lebouf has a good base and remains in mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Vladimir Koshechkin's cut.
That's time! Lebouf's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Koshechkin misses with a double jab
and Lebouf counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Koshechkin is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Lebouf fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Koshechkin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lebouf was covering up waiting for the punch and Koshechkin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lebouf is looking to sinch up a triangle. Koshechkin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lebouf's body to avoid the submission. Lebouf has instead reached around Koshechkin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lebouf arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
