Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
da Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rodrigues paws at him with a jab and circles away.
da Silva is looking to clinch but Rodrigues is avoiding it.
Rodrigues changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. da Silva tries to avoid it but Rodrigues manages to keep hold of a leg and drag da Silva to the ground. da Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rodrigues closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Rodrigues is working to tighten is grip on da Silva's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. da Silva has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rodrigues is really squeezing tight and eventually da Silva passes out! Rodrigues breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
