Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Godfathers A Chode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Godfathers A Chode is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Godfathers A Chode!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lyoto Machida!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida throws and low kick but Chode moves out of range easily.
Chode misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chode displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Machida throws out the jab.
Chode lands a nice shot to the body.
Machida will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Good standup being displayed there by Chode as he connects with a hook.
A jab from Chode finds it's way through Machida's defenses.

It looks like Lyoto Machida has been cut.
Chode connects with a jab.
Chode shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Machida pinned against the cage. Machida gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Machida pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Machida misses with a low kick.
Machida falls off balance throwing a combination

and Chode counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Machida!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chode unloads with some shots from mount but Machida bucks and avoids them well.

Chode wants to take Machida's back here but Machida is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chode lands a heavy elbow.
Chode looking to ground and pound but Machida is blocking nicely.

Chode swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Machida is now in Chode's guard. A big mistake from Chode there, giving up the dominant position!
Chode looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Machida puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Chode has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Chode is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Chode makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chode.

Chode looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Machida really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chode. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chode is breathing heavily.

Chode has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Machida can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Machida would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Chode looking to hit a scissor sweep but Machida is one step ahead there.
Machida missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chode is on top in guard.
Machida tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Machida is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Chode wants to pass the guard but Machida is keeping the position.
Chode thows a big elbow that misses.

Chode postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Machida is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chode, into his guard.
Chode wants to sweep here but Machida controlling him for the moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Machida trying to stand up but can't free himself from Chode's guard.

Machida is sitting in close to Chode's body. Chode has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Machida is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Machida is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Chode.
