Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonny Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clifford Harris has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clifford Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tonny Hansen!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harris scores with a takedown into Hansen's guard.

Hansen uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Harris misses with a takedown attempt - Hansen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hansen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harris moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hansen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harris is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hansen.
Hansen scores with a nice head shot.
Harris avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Harris is defended easily by Hansen.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hansen throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Harris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hansen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harris somewhat.

Hansen clinches up with Harris and pushes him back against the cage.

and Hansen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Harris is breathing heavily.
Hansen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Harris has a closed guard, preventing Hansen from standing up.
Hansen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harris swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Harris might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hansen wanted to stand there but Harris had control of the position.
Harris has momentary wrist control but Hansen slips an elbow through the middle.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hansen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Hansen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Harris pushes Hansen off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Hansen scores with a shot to the body.

Hansen rushes Harris and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hansen breaks from the clinch.
Hansen clinches but Harris breaks the clinch

and Harris counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harris prevents Hansen from improving his position.
Hansen wants to get back to his feet.

Hansen makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Hansen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Harris as he avoids it easily.
A combination from Hansen does no damage.
Hansen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hansen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Harris to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Hansen keeping moving, preventing Harris from controlling successfully.
Harris controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hansen is adopting a defensive guard.

Harris wanted to stand there but Hansen had control of the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harris trying to control but Hansen is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A bone on bone clash there as Harris blocks the leg kick.

and Hansen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Harris is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A solid body kick from Hansen.
Harris stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hansen.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hansen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Hansen breaks the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Hansen breaks the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tonny Hansen dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Hansen takes the fight into the clinch.
Hansen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Harris is trying to stall.

Hansen forces Harris back against the cage and clinches.
Harris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hansen walks away with a smile on his face. Harris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Harris uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hansen.
Nice uppercut lands for Hansen. That snapped Harris's head back.
Hansen tries a head kick but it misses.
Tonny Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hansen tries to clinch there but Harris circles away.
Harris tries for a takedown but Hansen circles away easily
and Hansen counters with a straight right hand.
Hansen fails with a takedown attempt.

Hansen has closed the distance and engaged Harris in a clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hansen wants to break the clinch but can't.
Harris wants to stall.

Hansen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hansen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hansen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Harris shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hansen pinned against the cage. Hansen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hansen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Hansen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Harris napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hansen is not content to let Harris control the position.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.

Harris is trying to get an arm triangle but Hansen is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hansen is trying to buck Harris off.
Hansen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Hansen regains full guard. Nicely done.
Hansen has his hands on Harris's head, controlling the position.

Hansen uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Clifford Harris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Harris looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Harris passes into half guard.
Harris has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hansen is squirming around, avoiding Harris's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tonny Hansen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Harris shoots in looking for a takedown. Hansen tries to sprawl out of it but Harris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hansen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Harris takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Harris has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hansen is working away from the top position though.

Harris tries to roll over but Hansen keeps him under control.

Harris on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Harris tries to get out of the position.
Hansen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Harris with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Harris is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hansen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hansen clinches up against the cage.
Harris fails to pull guard.

Hansen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hansen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hansen misses with a few strikes there.
Harris throws a series of punches but Hansen moves out of range.

Hansen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Hansen decides to stand and escape the position.
Harris keeps the fight on the outside.

Harris drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hansen is looking for a sweep.

Harris trying to control the action but Hansen is working from the bottom.
Harris throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Hansen works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Clifford Harris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Hansen kicks Harris off and gets back to his feet.
Harris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hansen as he jumps to the side.

Hansen has Harris up against the cage in a clinch.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hansen.

Hansen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hansen darts in trying to clinch

and Harris counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hansen won't be happy with that.
Harris tries to score with some ground and pound. Hansen controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Hansen wants to get back to his feet.
Hansen tries to buck Harris off but Harris is having none of it.
Hansen is trying to buck Harris off.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hansen parries the strikes from Harris easily there. Harris is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hansen to escape.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tonny Hansen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Hansen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
