The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spang tries a head kick but it misses.
Spang ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Spang fails with the takedown.
syrjala scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Fredrik Spang has been cut.
syrjala throws a right hand that Spang ducks under and follows up with a left that Spang also avoids with ease.
syrjala wants to clinch up but Spang keeps it at a distance.

Spang gets a clinch.

syrjala breaks from the clinch.
Spang tries to score a power double leg takedown but syrjala sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Spang somewhat.
A punch lands to the side of Spang 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

syrjala closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
syrjala is pressed up against the cage. Spang has hold of a leg and is looking to drag syrjala down to the mat. syrjala avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
henri syrjala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fredrik Spang.
syrjala looks to clinch
and Spang counters with a big head kick but syrjala shrugs it off.
syrjala connects with a nice cross there... Spang is looking wobbly and syrjala recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Spang to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - syrjala jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
