Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Straus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Straus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH. Phoenix has chosen Phoenix as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Straus lands a nice leg kick that just misses Phoenix's sensitive parts.
Straus throws a nice outside leg kick.
Phoenix tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Phoenix has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Phoenix there as he acknowledges the shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Straus darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Paul Phoenix has been cut.
Straus lands a nice hook to Phoenix's body. Phoenix takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Straus lands a big head kick that sends Phoenix tumbling to the mat! Straus takes a step backwards and waves Phoenix back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Straus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Straus.

A nice inside leg kick there by Straus. That's going to slow Phoenix down.
Straus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The cut above Paul Phoenix's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Straus digs a good hook to Phoenix's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Straus, right into the meat.
Straus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Phoenix.
Straus lands a left and a right that send Phoenix crashing to the mat, dazed. Straus thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Straus throws out a powerful jab.
Phoenix is still on wobbly legs! Can Straus finish him?
Paul Phoenix's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Paul Phoenix's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jack Straus!
