Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thor Odinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jafoste Outravez!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Odinson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Odinson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Outravez has managed to free his arm - good work.
Outravez is looking for a sweep. Odinson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Odinson thows a huge punch but Outravez dodges it nicely.
Odinson is thwarting Outravez's attempts to control the position.

Odinson is looking to advance position but Outravez won't allow it.
Odinson wants to take a breather but Outravez is having none of it.
Odinson is pressing down on Outravez's thigh, looking to free his foot. Outravez is holding on for now.
Odinson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Outravez is looking to clinch but Odinson is avoiding it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Odinson throws a leg kick but Outravez sees it coming and moves out of range.
Outravez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Odinson.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Odinson in particular looking to stall.

Odinson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Odinson is trying to control. Outravez wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Odinson works his foot free and advances to mount.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Odinson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Outravez napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Odinson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Outravez for as long as he can get away with.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Thor Odinson.

Odinson lands a big uppercut and Outravez crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Outravez looks OK. Odinson waves Outravez back to his feet!

Thor Odinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
