The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan throws the kick towards the body but Coutour avoids it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Chan gets to his feet. Coutour looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Coutour throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chan on the side of the head.

Coutour tries to keep at a distance but Chan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Coutour shoots in looking for a takedown. Chan tries to sprawl out of it but Coutour keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Coutour decides to stand back up. Coutour steps back and let's Chan get back to his feet.
Chan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Coutour paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Chan shoots in and drives through. Coutour sprawls well.

Coutour catches Chan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Chan is rocked!
Coutour steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Chan is out on his feet! Coutour sets himself and nearly takes Chan's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
