Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bo Xerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Napoleon Bonaparte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Napoleon Bonaparte is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonaparte shoots in but Xerman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A punch combination from Xerman misses.
No luck for Bonaparte with that takedown attempt.
Bonaparte fails with a takedown attempt.
Bo Xerman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Napoleon Bonaparte.
Xerman misses with a jab, cross combination.
A left lands for Xerman.
Bonaparte ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Xerman moves away.

Bo Xerman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Xerman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bonaparte takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Xerman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

It looks like Napoleon Bonaparte has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bonaparte will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Xerman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bonaparte's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bonaparte is on top in guard.

Bonaparte stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Xerman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Xerman pulls Bonaparte in close to his closed guard and prevents Bonaparte from doing any damage or advancing position.

Bonaparte slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Xerman is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bonaparte is looking to take a break and control but Xerman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bonaparte wants to finish this one by submission but Xerman is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bonaparte.
Xerman is looking to get to half guard.
Bonaparte unloads with some shots from mount but Xerman bucks and avoids them well.
Bonaparte takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bonaparte is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Xerman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Xerman throws a wild body kick that Bonaparte sees coming a mile off.
A right-left combo lands from Xerman.
Xerman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bonaparte throws out the jab.

Bonaparte jumps guard but Xerman stands there with Bonaparte around his waist. Bonaparte gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bonaparte seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Xerman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bonaparte is nestled in close to Xerman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bonaparte is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Xerman defends it well.
Bonaparte is taking a breather. Xerman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Bonaparte wants to pass the guard but Xerman is defending well.
Bonaparte is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Xerman strikes from the bottom but Bonaparte uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Xerman is trying to control Bonaparte's posture but Bonaparte avoids it.

You can see the frustration on Xerman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Napoleon Bonaparte showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Bonaparte shoots in and bounces Xerman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bonaparte is pushing down on Xerman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Xerman is fighting to maintain full guard but Bonaparte has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bonaparte takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Xerman wants to control but Bonaparte is keeping busy.
Bonaparte is trying to control the action in half guard but Xerman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Napoleon Bonaparte.
Xerman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Xerman lands a nice hook to Bonaparte's body. Bonaparte takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Xerman stalks Bonaparte and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bonaparte's face. Bonaparte staggers backwards, shaken.

Bonaparte shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bonaparte showed some decent athleticism there.
Bonaparte takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Xerman wants to improve his position but Bonaparte is controlling well.
Bonaparte wants to lay and pray for a moment but Xerman keeps working.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Xerman has a hand on Bonaparte's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bonaparte takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Xerman tries to reverse the position but Bonaparte maintains control.
Bonaparte is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Xerman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Bonaparte is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Xerman has managed to escape the submission attempt.
