Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Concrete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Marker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, James Concrete!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Marker!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marker waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Concrete.
Concrete shoots in looking for a takedown. Marker tries to sprawl out of it but Concrete keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Donk. Marker catches Concrete right on the button with a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Concrete is defended easily by Marker.
Josh Marker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Marker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Concrete.
Marker lands with a nice combination. Concrete backs away looking to recover.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Concrete bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nice sprawl there from Marker as Concrete shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Concrete. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Concrete shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marker sprawls well. Marker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Concrete gets slowly back to his feet.
Marker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Concrete momentarily.

Concrete shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Marker defends it nicely.
James Concrete seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marker gets caught flat footed, as Concrete shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Concrete wants to control from the top but Marker keeps moving.
Concrete seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Concrete postures up in Marker's guard and throws a big left but Marker blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Concrete closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Marker did well to prevent Concrete getting side control.
Concrete not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Marker is not content to let Concrete control the position.

Concrete trying to pass the guard but Marker defending well.
Concrete missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Concrete content to control rather than advance.
Concrete throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Marker is trying to stand up here but Concrete is controlling him well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Concrete closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Concrete lands in his opponent's guard.
Marker wants to sweep but no luck.

Concrete trying to control but Marker is working from the bottom.
Concrete works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Marker avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Concrete.

Marker is defending against the submission attempts here by Concrete.
The fighters are battling for position here. Marker manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Marker wants to get back to his feet but Concrete is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Concrete won't allow Marker to sweep him here.
Marker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Concrete. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Concrete pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marker is keeping the position for now.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Concrete is trying hard to land a takedown here. Marker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Concrete with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Marker to score with a decent uppercut.
