Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akira Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paco Baggio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Maeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paco Baggio!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Maeda as Baggio shoots in.
Maeda fails in his attempt to clinch.
Baggio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Maeda tries to clinch but Baggio is having none of it.

Maeda clinches.
Baggio tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Maeda gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Baggio.
Akira Maeda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paco Baggio.
Baggio tries to stall but Maeda uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Baggio changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Maeda fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Maeda shoots in looking for a takedown. Baggio tries to sprawl out of it but Maeda keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Baggio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Baggio shoots for a takedown but Maeda saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Baggio sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Baggio looks gassed!

Maeda shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baggio is looking for a sweep. Maeda is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Baggio kicks off Maeda and gets to his feet.
Maeda lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Baggio crumples to the floor! Maeda milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
