Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Veloso II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Totoy Montillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montillo has chosen I hear Voices as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montillo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Veloso II tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Montillo swivels and escapes.
Veloso II moves out of range of the body kick.
Veloso II shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Veloso II tries to score a power double leg takedown but Montillo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Veloso II somewhat.

Montillo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Montillo is keen to just control but Veloso II is a slippery customer.
Veloso II wants to improve his position but Montillo is controlling well.

Montillo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Veloso II knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Montillo lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Montillo lands a nice short elbow.
It looks like Montillo is going to stand back up.
Veloso II is looking for a sweep. Montillo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Veloso II is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Montillo tries to roll over but Veloso II keeps him under control.

Veloso II looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Montillo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Veloso II. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
