Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Slick CPW (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yonaz Obsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obsen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Slick CPW has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Obsen has hold of CPW's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and CPW manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Obsen is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But CPW has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from CPW!

CPW got a little sloppy there for a moment and Obsen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, CPW has managed to get both his arms back between Obsen's legs - danger averted.

Obsen throws a right hand that CPW ducks under and follows up with a left that CPW also avoids with ease.
Obsen shoots in for a double leg but CPW sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Obsen feints and as CPW raises his hands in defense, Obsen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Obsen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Obsen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but CPW manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Obsen has CPW in his guard.

Obsen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. CPW defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

CPW would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Obsen shoots in looking for a takedown. CPW tries to sprawl out of it but Obsen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. CPW manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
CPW lands with a straight right. Obsen didn't see that one coming.

and Obsen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Obsen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says CPW as he avoids it easily.

CPW throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
CPW connects with a good right hand that stumbles Obsen. Obsen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Obsen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by CPW.

CPW lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
CPW looks to score with a jab to the body but Obsen is just out of range.
Obsen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Obsen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
CPW is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
CPW keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Obsen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
CPW avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Obsen.

Obsen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. CPW swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
CPW fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Obsen manages to avoid it.

CPW closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
CPW is trying to break free.
Obsen is trying to drag CPW to the mat but CPW just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Slick CPW has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yonaz Obsen.

CPW escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
CPW lands a really nice looking cross but Obsen seems unphased.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Obsen.
CPW paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Obsen takes a body punch but keeps moving.
CPW throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
