The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ogawa avoids it really well and circles away.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jimy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ogawa scores with a spinning back kick!
A shot to the liver by Ogawa. Beautiful body shot.
Jones shoots in for a double leg but Ogawa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Riku Ogawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimy Jones.
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Ogawa uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ogawa defends it nicely.

Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ogawa to score an easy takedown into full guard.
