And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake misses with a double jab.
Blake listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut.
Blake lands a body shot.
Blake misses with a wild combination.
Blake lands a right hook to the body.
Liddell slips a jab and a cross from Blake.
Blake throws out a powerful jab.

Liddell has picked Blake up - he's going for a ride! Liddell dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Blake is trying to get back to full guard.
Blake is trying to control but Liddell manages to pass to mount!
Liddell lands a nice shot to the head.
It looks like Jake Blake has been cut.
Liddell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Blake wants to control but Liddell is having none of it.
Liddell can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blake is looking to escape.
Liddell landing strikes from the mount.
Blake tries to control the position but Liddell now has his back.
Liddell controls the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Blake takes a big shot to the side of the head.
The cut above Jake Blake's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blake trying to control the position but Liddell manages to sink in the hooks.
Blake wants to escape the position.
Liddell working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
You can see the frustration on Blake's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Liddell tightening his grip on Blake, looking for the choke.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Blake tries to break free.
Blake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Liddell . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Liddell scores with punches from the back.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Blake is trying to roll into a better position but Liddell has get a rear naked choke and Blake is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
