Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Illidan Stormrage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stormrage is looking to clinch but Penn is avoiding it.

Stormrage rushes Penn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stormrage lands an elbow inside that Penn shrugs off.

Penn is in a horrible position here. Stormrage smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Stormrage lands a big shot there that rocks Penn but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Stormrage throws a nice looking combination but Penn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Stormrage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Penn.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stormrage can do anything to dispel that myth.

Penn is stalling here. Stormrage is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Penn seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Stormrage has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
