Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Munoz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Joseph Calzighe!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz shoots in for a takedown but Calzighe shows good takedown defense.
Horrible takedown by Munoz or perhaps it was just good defense by Calzighe which made him look bad.
Calzighe tries for a takedown but Munoz circles away easily
and Munoz counters with a two punch combo.
Calzighe fails with the takedown
and Munoz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Calzighe won't be happy with that.
Munoz wants to stand but Calzighe has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Calzighe is looking for a triangle but Munoz pushes his legs off easily.
Calzighe is looking to stand up but Munoz isn't so interested in that idea.

Calzighe had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Munoz defends it easily.
Munoz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Calzighe is keeping the position for now.
Calzighe controls Munoz momentarily but Munoz frees himself.
Munoz tries to stand but Calzighe is controlling from the bottom.
Munoz trying to control the position from guard on top but Calzighe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Munoz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Calzighe has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Munoz is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Calzighe.
Calzighe manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Calzighe looking for submissions off his back.
Calzighe looks gassed!
Munoz wants to work for an arm triangle but Calzighe is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are battling for position here. Calzighe manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Calzighe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Munoz's guard.
Munoz looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Calzighe is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Munoz has managed to free his arm - good work.
