Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bertie Bassett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reagel Johehanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Bassett finds it's way through Johehanson's defenses.
Bassett bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Johehanson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Johehanson misses with a straight left.
Bassett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johehanson swivels and escapes.
A jab from Bassett does it's job there.
Bassett fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Johehanson throws an overhand right that lands on Bassett's shoulder, as Bassett tries to avoid the shot.

Johehanson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Bassett fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Johehanson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Bassett's corner calls for a 1-2. Bassett obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Bassett shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bassett showed some decent athleticism there.
Bassett is taking a breather. Johehanson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Bertie Bassett just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bassett throws a shot from downtown. Johehanson moves away and avoids it.

Bassett gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bassett misses with a takedown

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Johehanson is trying to get an arm triangle but Bassett is defending well.

Johehanson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bassett is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Johehanson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bassett knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Johehanson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bassett turns into him and now he's in Johehanson's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Johehanson throws a hook to the side of Bassett's head but Bassett sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bassett lands a slapping body shot.
Johehanson misses with an uppercut.
Bassett looks to throw the jab but Johehanson is out of range.
Bassett swings for the body but Johehanson moves out of range.

Bassett tries for a takedown but Johehanson circles away easily

and Johehanson counters with a single leg into guard. Bassett didn't expect that.
Johehanson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Johehanson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Reagel Johehanson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bassett doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Johehanson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Johehanson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bassett!

Bassett is trying to escape the mount but Johehanson keeps good control and instead manages to take Bassett's back.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Johehanson has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Bassett! Can he survive? No! He's out! Johehanson gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
