Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blair Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomica Drasic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drasic is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Johnston's half guard.

Drasic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Johnston does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Drasic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnston wants to sweep here but Drasic controlling him for the moment.

Drasic is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johnston is just riding it out for now. Drasic eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Johnston manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Drasic manages to get himself to full guard.

Drasic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
