Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dourado has taken the fight to the clinch.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Jarrah is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Dourado gets his way!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dourado is hanging on to Jarrah's back as he tries to escape.
Dourado slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Jarrah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dourado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

and Dourado counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jarrah's guard now.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Jarrah has eaten all the pies!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Dourado here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Dourado will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Dourado ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dourado no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dourado had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jarrah defends it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jarrah is looking to work some ground and pound but Dourado has wrist control.
Jarrah wants to stand but Dourado is controlling his posture from full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Dourado is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Dourado drops back looking for a leg! Jarrah is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jarrah manages to kick Dourado off! Dourado jumps back into Jarrah's guard.

Dourado decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jarrah clinches but Dourado breaks the clinch
and Dourado counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jarrah thinking.
Sayid Jarrah has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Dourado is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jarrah can't fight it off and eventually Dourado manages to take the fight to the floor. Jarrah looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dourado, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
