Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zachery Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Nom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Zachery Rey has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zachery Rey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, King Nom!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nom takes one on the chin but seems OK.


It looks like King Nom has been cut.
Rey lands a nice shot to the body.

Nom tries to keep at a distance but Rey has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nom managing to block the knees to the body from Rey.
Nom wants to break free but Rey has control.

Nom breaks from the clinch.
Nom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rey's waist but Rey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nom off to one side.

Nom shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nom was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rey wants to control but Nom is having none of it.

Nom wants to finish this one by submission but Rey is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nom.

Nom is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rey has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rey!
Nom is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rey is controlling him.

Nom wants to stand up but Rey is controlling him.
Rey is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Rey decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nom, up you get!

Rey is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Nom is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rey on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rey tries to get out of the position.

Zachery Rey is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Nom postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rey, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
