Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julian McKinney!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKinney lands a body shot.
Maeda looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
McKinney moves into the clinch.
McKinney works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Maeda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McKinney advances position into side control!
The ground and pound from McKinney seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
McKinney controlling the position.
Let's hope that McKinney has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Julian McKinney.
McKinney darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
McKinney is taking a breather. Maeda says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
McKinney's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Julian McKinney.
McKinney throws a monster overhand right that drops Maeda! McKinney follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
