The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hook walks into a jab.
Red Hook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown avoids the head kick by Hook.
Brown lands with an uppercut that bounces Hook off the cage and back into rage.
Hook lands a high kick!

It looks like David Brown has been cut.
Brown checks a leg kick nicely.
Hook throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Hook throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Brown throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hook on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A nice combination there by Brown.
Hook misses with a head kick.
Brown just misses with a punch to the body.
Brown scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Hook tries a low kick but Brown avoids it.
Brown moves out of range of the strikes.
Brown misses with a wild combination.
Hook uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brown has time to react.

Brown lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Hook on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Brown. Brown obviously looking to wear him down.
Hook walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Red Hook has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hook.
Brown bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hook's head backwards.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Brown, right into the meat.
Brown clobbers Hook with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A clash of legs there as Hook blocks the low kick.
Brown cracks Hook with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Hook is rocked!
Brown lands with a right and another and another! Hook is in big trouble! Brown lands again and this time it's lights out for Hook! A quality knockout there for Brown.
