The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vipers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bickle as he jumps to the side.
Bickle scores with a one two! Vipers had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Bickle moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Vipers shoots for a double leg takedown but Bickle sprawls well. He's pushed Vipers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bickle looks to land a combination. Vipers sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vipers is defended easily by Bickle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Vipers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bickle throws out a powerful jab.

Bickle throws a nice looking combination but Vipers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vipers has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bickle finds it's way round the side to connect with Vipers's head.

Vipers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bickle circles away.
Horrible takedown by Vipers or perhaps it was just good defense by Bickle which made him look bad.
Vipers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bickle as he jumps to the side.
Vipers is breathing heavily.

Vipers misses with a takedown attempt - Bickle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Matt Vipers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bickle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bickle throws a series of strikes that have Vipers backpedaling.
Bickle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bickle lands a left and a right that send Vipers crashing to the mat, dazed. Bickle thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Vipers is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vipers loses concentration momentarily and Bickle pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Vipers crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Bickle finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
