The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suligoj fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Morleaux on the side of the head.
Suligoj with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Suligoj throws a quick inside leg kick.

Filip Suligoj seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morleaux slips under a jab.
Suligoj throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Suligoj throws a head kick but Morleaux moves out of range.
Morleaux clinches with his opponent.
Suligoj wants a takedown but no success here.
Suligoj wants to get back to striking at distance but Morleaux won't allow it.
Morleaux breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Suligoj throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Morleaux looks for a takedown but Suligoj sprawls well.

Suligoj is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morleaux scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Morleaux moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

I looks like Morleaux might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suligoj is trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Morleaux stands up.
Suligoj misses with an uppercut. Morleaux saw that one coming.
Suligoj throws a head kick but Morleaux moves out of range.
Suligoj throws a looping overhand right but Morleaux ducks down to avoid it.
Suligoj throws a sloppy head kick and Morleaux moves out of range easily.
Morleaux lands a nice shot to the body.
Morleaux throws an overhand right that has Suligoj reeling! Morleaux follows up with more punches and Suligoj is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dexter Morleaux!
