Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Killam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jesus Killam is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerome Stevens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesus Killam!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killam fails to land the takedown.
Stevens could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Killam is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stevens doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Killam.

Stevens tries to get to full guard but Killam has control of the leg.

Killam looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stevens is fending him off so far but Killam persists. Nope, Stevens circles away and we're back to standing.
Stevens scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Killam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stevens as he avoids it easily.
Killam takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Killam uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stevens.
Stevens looks to land a combination but Killam avoids it well.

Stevens lands with a nice body punch.

Stevens gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Stevens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Killam on the ground.

Stevens might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Killam content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Killam seems to be working for a kimura but Stevens defends the submission attempt.

Stevens is looking to wear down Killam with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Killam on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Killam takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Stevens punishes Killam's body with a nice straight punch.
Killam misses with a takedown attempt - Stevens sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stevens scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


Killam is rocked!
Stevens Rushes Killam and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Killam is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Stevens Piles on the pressure and Killam crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
