The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
krung misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
krung wants to clinch up but Medeiros keeps it at a distance.
Medeiros defending well as krung loads up on a big left hand.

Medeiros feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Medeiros slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
krung tries to bench press Medeiros off him but Medeiros keeps the position.
Medeiros will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

krung really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Medeiros. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

krung is trying to get to his feet but he's left his neck exposed and Medeiros manages to sink in a rear naked choke! Great counter grappling by Medeiros!
