Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Patenza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Patenza might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to W.Peace, custom entrance music. Kelly has chosen Theme From Black Belt Jones as his entrance music. Vinny Patenza could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jim Kelly's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patenza circles away from the clinch attempt.

Patenza scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Patenza cracks Kelly with a big right hand but Kelly just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Check out the look on Patenza's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Patenza throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Patenza throws an elbow but Kelly slips to the side and avoids it well.
Kelly is trying to control Patenza's posture but Patenza avoids it.
Kelly takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kelly tries to improve position but can't.
Patenza has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Patenza lands an elbow.
Kelly is trying to work for a sweep but Patenza has mounted him!
Patenza postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kelly looks a forlorn figure.
Patenza can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kelly is looking to escape.
Patenza fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Kelly is rocked!
Patenza loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kelly scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Patenza land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Patenza stands and salutes the crowd.
