PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Cricket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cricket comes into the arena with I'm Gonna Win Today blaring out of the sound system. Wilson has chosen Eminem- Not Afraid as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. David Wilson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson throws a shot from downtown. Cricket moves away and avoids it.
David Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like John Cricket has been cut.
Wilson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wilson throws a series of punches but Cricket avoids them all with ease.
Wilson throws a nice looking combination but Cricket bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cricket fails with a takedown attempt.

Wilson throws an overhand right that lands on Cricket's shoulder, as Cricket tries to avoid the shot.

Wilson lands a left and a right that send Cricket crashing to the mat, dazed. Wilson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Cricket has control of Wilson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wilson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
