The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krujcek circles away from the clinch attempt.
Noons is looking to clinch but Krujcek is avoiding it.
Krujcek throws a shot from downtown. Noons moves away and avoids it.
Krujcek keeps the fight on the outside.
Noons tries to close the distance and clinch but Krujcek swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Noons misses with a hook. Krujcek ducked under it nicely.

Noons dives in and grabs Krujcek's left leg, looking for a takedown. Krujcek pushes down on Noons's head and hops out.
Noons is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Noons is trying desperately to land a takedown but Krujcek is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Noons.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Krujcek leaves Noons with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well Krujcek has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
