Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Armand wants to hold on but Lester pushes him away.
Lester prevents Armand from getting the reversal.
Lester takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Armand wants to control but Lester is having none of it.

Armand squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Armand has Lester pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lester manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lester changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Armand tries to avoid it but Lester manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Armand to the ground. Armand escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It looks like Kane Armand has been cut.
Lester shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Armand as he jumps to the side.

and Lester counters with a shoot takedown. Armand fights it but they end up in guard.

Armand is looking to stand up but Lester isn't so interested in that idea.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lester can do anything to dispel that myth.
Armand drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Armand jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Armand won't allow Lester to sweep him here.
Armand is fighting to break Lester's control of his arms but Lester is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Lester controls Armand momentarily but Armand frees himself.
Armand stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lester swivels though and keeps the full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Armand manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Armand jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lester is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lester and Armand has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Mo Lester showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Armand is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lester has his hands clasped together but Armand extends an breaks Lester's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Armand.
