Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Sarai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mattias Markstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mattias Markstrom is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stephen Sarai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mattias Markstrom!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markstrom doesn't manage to clinch there - Sarai circles away.
Markstrom shoots for a takedown but Sarai saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Markstrom scores with a hook.
Sarai feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Sarai drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sarai jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sarai postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sarai trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Markstrom pushes Sarai off and scrambles back to his feet.
Markstrom shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Sarai is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Markstrom rolls with it to try and escape but Sarai cranks on the arm and Markstrom is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
