Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sterling Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sterling Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Thomas on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Blaze gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thomas controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Blaze wants to stand and escape but Thomas is having none of it.
Thomas keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Blaze's head.
Thomas stops Blaze from standing up.
Thomas postures up and lands a big shot to Blaze's brow.

Thomas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Blaze dives on top into guard.
Thomas looks gassed!
Blaze stops Thomas from standing up.
Thomas has a closed guard, preventing Blaze from standing up.

Thomas controlling Blaze's posture.
Thomas is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Blaze is controlling him.

Blaze gets to his feet - Thomas follows without any prompting.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Blaze.
Blaze throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Thomas.
Thomas fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Blaze lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Thomas takes a kick to the side of the head.
Blaze buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Blaze.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Blaze, right into the meat.
Blaze throws a head kick that half lands.
Thomas takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Johny Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blaze lands a head kick. Thomas smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Thomas is rocked!
Blaze throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Thomas is still on wobbly legs! Can Blaze finish him?
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Blaze! Thomas is out on his feet! Blaze rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Thomas is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Thomas is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
