Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tesla Golf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golf throws a nice inside leg kick.
Thurgood Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jenkins tries to close the distance and clinch but Golf swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jenkins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jenkins closes this distance looking for a takedown but Golf circles away.

Golf walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jenkins checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Jenkins takes the fight into the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Jenkins shoots for a double leg takedown but Golf sprawls well. He's pushed Jenkins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jenkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Golf swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jenkins closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Golf to the mat! Golf manages to get full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jenkins has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Golf to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jenkins is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Golf pulls down on the head and he's put Jenkins to sleep! This one is all over!
